Subject: Marine Corps Commandant Warns His Marines: ‘Save Every Round, Every Gallon Of Gas’ Mon Mar 11, 2013 11:43 pm
As any Marine who has ever worn the uniform knows the Marine Corps has the smallest budget out of all of the armed services. We already had lived by the rules of this new message before so it must really be bad now. We never had much ammo to do live fire training with. At least not in my day. I guess the Marines will just have to say bang-bang a little more due to sequstration while having tuition assistance taken away so egypt can recieve aid and illegal aliens can recieve education. When is this criminal in chief going to be impeached? Has he not done enough yet. This country is so blined it makes me sick. Now the Marines are asked to sacrifice even more. But that is ok because Marines can take it. We have the lowest budget, old gear yet we still put other services to shame in many aspects. Anyway here is the Commandants message.

Marine Corps Commandant James Amos explains how the marines will adapt to their changing financial landscape as sequestration begins to take effect in a video released Friday.
“I ask you to save every round, every gallon of gas. That you take every single aspect or opportunity in training to get the most bang for the buck,” Amos explains. “This is no time to do business as usual. Things have changed. The landscape has changed.”
The Marines are slated to lose $1.4 billion, or 6 percent, from their current fiscal year’s budget due to sequestration.
