What Really Happened At Roswell, NM in 1947

Well seeing as this is a place for truth and only truth I thought it was about time to get down to buisness with some of the bigger events in the conspiracy world. Tonight I am choosing to take on the Roswell incident. It is probably the most famous UFO incident in the whole world. There are many theories out there as to what reaqlly happened back then. I will try to fit in all of the different theories and explanations regaurdless of my personal beliefs in order to bring an unbiased approach to the subject. In the end I believe it will be up to the reader to determin what they believe to be truth.

I personally believe that something major did happen at Roswell. I believe that an ET or exta dimensional craft of some sort crashed on that ranch. I also believe that the government has been covering it up for all this time as well. There are also many theories as to why it has been so heavily gaurded in secrecy all of these years. I will try to get out as much info on that as well. If anyone who reads this has any info to add it will be greatfully appreciated. So lets begin shall we.

The next day, the press reported that Commanding General of the Eighth Air Force Roger M. Ramey stated that, in fact, a radar-tracking balloon had been recovered by the RAAF personnel, not a "flying disc."[4] A subsequent press conference was called, featuring debris said to be from the crashed object, which seemed to confirm the weather balloon description.

The incident was forgotten and almost completely ignored, even by UFO researchers, for more than 30 years. Then, in 1978, physicist and ufologist Stanton T. Friedman interviewed Major Jesse Marcel who was involved with the original recovery of the debris in 1947. Marcel expressed his belief that the military had covered up the recovery of an alien spacecraft. His story spread through UFO circles, being featured in some UFO documentaries at the time.[2] In February 1980, The National Enquirer ran its own interview with Marcel, garnering national and worldwide attention for the Roswell incident.[2]

Additional witnesses added significant new details, including claims of a huge military operation dedicated to recovering alien craft and aliens themselves, at as many as 11 crash sites,[2] and alleged witness intimidation. In 1989, former mortician Glenn Dennis put forth a detailed personal account, wherein he claimed that alien autopsies were carried out at the Roswell base.[5]

In response to these reports, and after congressional inquiries, the General Accounting Office launched an inquiry and directed the Office of the Secretary of the Air Force to conduct an internal investigation. The result was summarized in two reports. The first, released in 1995, concluded that the reported recovered material in 1947 was likely debris from a secret government program called Project Mogul, which involved high altitude balloons meant to detect sound waves generated by Soviet atomic bomb tests and ballistic missiles.[6] The second report, released in 1997, concluded that reports of recovered alien bodies were likely a combination of innocently transformed memories of military accidents involving injured or killed personnel, innocently transformed memories of the recovery of anthropomorphic dummies in military programs like Project High Dive conducted in the 1950s, and hoaxes perpetrated by various witnesses and UFO proponents. The psychological effects of time compression and confusion about when events occurred explained the discrepancy with the years in question. These reports were dismissed by UFO proponents as being either disinformation or simply implausible. However, numerous high-profile UFO researchers discount the possibility that the incident had anything to do with aliens.

So now that we have to OS out of the way let's begin to look at the many different theories as to what really happened. Here are a few videos that explain the many different takes on the incident.



Stanton Friedman has been by far the most important Roswell researcher in my opinion. He is responsible for the incident becoming as widly known as it is. Here are a short few videos with Mr. Friedman himself talking about the roswell incident.




Now there is a book written by a man who claims that a woman claimed to have interviewed the live alien that was recovered from the crash scene. I don't know if it is real or not but it is very intersting to read. It is available as a pdf for free so I will link it here for everyone to read. I will also embed the youtube transcrips for those who may not want to read the entire thing. There is a disclaimer saying that it is fictional but many times ufo researchers do this to protect all parties involved from and backlash for speaking the truth.

Now; another one of the conspiracies surrounding the Roswell event is that it was a time traveling vehicle and was not ETs, but rather us from a future timeline and that the occupants were evolved versions of us. Dan Burisch has had quite a bit to say about this in the past but I am not sure if there is anything recent. I will post the Project Camelot video interviews with Mr. Burisch. I take everything that comes for PC with a grain of salt but it is an interesting interview if you have the time to losten to it. He does go in depth about the technology that was recovered and a few other interesting things as well.





I have one more theory to throw out there. There is a theory that the Russians crashed a feak UFO at Roswell to intimidate the Americans.

This author has identified and located Annie Jacobsen’s anonymous source. I have also decided, after much consideration, to “out” him. In this article I will openly name him. I have also contacted him very recently. He reluctantly spoke with me for some time. I believe that the source was indeed told this bizarre story by officials. But just why this is so will stun readers, and is not for the reasons that you may think

Ok, I think that is enough info to get us started. I know there is much more out there but I believe what I have presented covers most of the theories reguarding the 1947 Roswell incident. Hopefully with the help of my fellow TTiV forum members we can pick this apart piece by piece until we have a general idea of what the truth really is. Hi Grunt. Great thread! A lot of hard work you did there - bless you! I want to get to the truth too! And since you have brought up the Roswell incident , I'd like to throw another name into the equation -but not just yet anyway. Right now, I'm reviewing his autobiography. This man was whistleblowing (or an insane loon - I'm not so sure lol )but no one wants to pay him any mind . People turned their backs on him for some reason - discrediting him, etc. I think even Friedman kind of shied away - would love to ask his opinion!

This guy's ''story''? does seem TOO wild and fantasic however, a lot of what he says does ring of truth ! Anyway, it would make a great sci-fi read even if not real!

What really caught my attention is that he was supposedly a Christian ...and this was his last entry online ... He was going to whistleblow all the more and was to start his 2nd book with details !!! Guess what? 11 days after that entry, he was freakin' dead.

People in the ufo community have ridiculed, made him sound like a liar , ousted from the ufo community, suppOSEDLY debunked him, etc. And I don't go with the flow and judge for myself, nOT taking people's word for a thing. Just because others shun , I wILL look!

I truly wish someone would help me look further into him/his statements. Especially this coming from a supposed Christian man - If this gives you a clue ...Friedman and he knew one another. And this guy met his wife through him.... IMO this guys statements/story needs further investigation.

Anyway, his comment on Roswell was a bit different ...(whether true or not , I do not know) but bet you've never heard this one. He stated that the aliens were allowing some of OUR kind - us humans- fly the craft by thought and they crashed it ... among some other things . Long story to read , if you are interested!!! .. I've begged and begged lol for others to read it to no avail .

I wish to get others reading it /and hear their thoughts . To me, just because something sounds too off-the-wall fantastic, doesn't mean we should disregard it as junk--- truth CAN be stranger than fiction as we are now learning , it seems everyday! lol..
Anyway, wanted to mention it. Would you be willing to read his auto--biography???? It is NOT just about Roswell . It's about his involvement with a ''so-called'' governing program , history and working w/aliens ... Yeah ,, I know --- LOL!
