My views on God and Religion Empty
PostSubject: My views on God and Religion   My views on God and Religion EmptyWed Sep 12, 2012 10:40 pm

Well I just thought I would write a little about this and maybe even get a discussion going. I am personally not a religious person. I did not grow uo with religion in my family. However, that does not mean that I do not believe in god. I am in fact a person of belief and also what you may consider a spiritual person. I do not believe that God is a single entity with powers to control all of us. Instead I believe God to be everything and anything. We are each a part of God, or as I like to refer to it as, the creation. I believe we are all intertwined and connnected because we all come from the same source.

It is said that man was created in Gods Image. To me that means that we were born creators ourselves. I mean look what we humble humans can do in this current world. Look at the miracles we perform everyday as a species. We also do alot of harm as a species. We have harmed our mother earth whom I also consider to be a concious being. Now she must alter her surface to repair the damage done by our foolishness. This will take many lives as it happens over a loing period of time. And I am just speaking of natural events that will happen sooner or later.

I believe the truth of our true powers as creators has been surpressed or lost over time. It is to hard to control humans when they know the truth. I have had some very strange experiences which I have never talked about before. Maybe if enough people show real interest I will open up some day. I do believe that there aqre forces that watch over us as I would not be here if there weren't. I would have died almost eight years ago if there weren't. I also believe that what happens in this life depends on us. We are responsible for ourselves and most have forgotten that.

I believe religion was an early form of control used before there were big governments. How else would you bring illiterate people under control. I do believe that there is alot of truth stashed away in religious books such as the bible and the curan. I read many religous books on a regular basis and find many interesting things about them. I do believe Bob could be onto something with his comparisons of biblical prophecy and the current time we live in.

I also feel in my heart that in my lifetime all humans will know the truth. I also believe that we are some of the last generations of humans to live on a planet with war and inhumane cultures. I firmly believe that 100 years from now there will be peace on Earth. How that will be achieved is up to us. I have to hold that belief in order to let my daughter grow up happy. I have to believe that change will come for her. We have to institue that change. I truly hope an event comes which will make all humans of this earth realize that there is only one religion. And that is to live a s a good person and to contribute good to the world for the future generations.

Anyways, I will quit rambhling. I am open to discussion over anything I have written. cheers

Jimmy's close, very close, and I agree with many of his points. For one, I agree that we have more power within us than what we know now. Physiologists agree that we only use about 4-10% of our brain power, and even then there are some people who can do amazing things using only the power of their minds. Remote viewing, ESP, telekinesis; all of those abilities have been proven to exist within humans at our current state of evolution. I wonder what we might be able to do if we could use 100% of our brain? Rearrange matter? Cure diseases? Communicate over long distances using just the power of our mind? Who knows?

I'm not going to say that we ARE like God, not yet anyway, but it is my belief that God wants us to be like Him one day. Just like any Father wants His children to follow in His footsteps. He wants us to learn how to act in Eternity, how to be a part of His eternal family, and I believe that He also wants "grandchildren." Instead of laying around on clouds playing harps, I think that the afterlife will be much more exciting; creating worlds, populating them, and teaching the next generation of beings about Father's will. But there is no doubt that there is a spark of the Divine within us. I know this because Christ said so:

Luke 17:20-21 - "Now when He was asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, He answered them and said, 'The kingdom of God does not come with observation; nor will they say, 'See here!' or 'See there!' For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you.'"

Before I close, I want to agree with my brother Jimmy one more time: We WILL see a paradigm shift in human consciousness in our lifetimes. In fact, I believe that by 2017 all of the mysteries will be revealed; but that is the subject of an upcoming show - NO SPOILERS! Sorry folks.

lol!

Just my 2cnts /belief on Luke 17:20-21:

He was asked this question by the Pharisees. My interpretation : He knew they did not believe Him - in that He was Christ the King. Jesus , imo, was actually trying to tell them He WAS the Christ the Coming King, He was there, He was amongst them! But of course they rejected Him. ... The Kingdom of God WAS within their midst in a literal sense!
I do agree God owns us all though. If it weren't for Him , none of us would be alive Smile God gives us life . We are all his but we choose the master we serve.

I'll try to comment further later ... I DO agree with you on some things, Jimmy. Just like in the way money can be used for good OR evil, I rightly agree that a LOT -even the majority - of religions have been used for BAD and control. Lots are counterfeit to the traditional Christian religion.

The Bible tells us that Satan will use any and every thing within His power to attack/oppose God or tear down others . Ephesians 6:12 " ... we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places".

Satan loves to steal , kill and destroy....-divide and conquor. Doesn't this abound more and more these days? It's sooO sad what this world has come to.

and We all need to fight that 'o snake!!

I've heard that interpretation before, and it does make sense. The argument is based on a mistranslation of the Septuagint, the original Greek translation of the Old Testament. I've always wanted to learn to read Hebrew so I could go back to the source. It's on my bucket list.

Either way I feel God is Omnipresent, which means that He is everywhere, including inside each and every one of us. So, either way... cheers

Being created in God's image means we are like mirror images. A mirror image cannot do all the things the original can do. In and of itself an image has no power on it's own. All the power comes from the source of the reflection, not the reflection itself. Is God a specific person? In a word...Yes, in the personage of Jesus Christ who in aramaic is Yeshua Ha'Mashiach (Jesus the Messiah). Jesus is not a mere mirror copy of God but he is HIM and this is testified of in not just the new estament but the hebrew bible (old testament) as well. God is not creation, that is called pantheism.

This is a very deep subject and i don't wish to bog down your beliefs, but if you really want to see the spiritual applications, read the New Testament first and then go read the Old Testament. For christians we do not have the first half of the story, we are brought up on the second half which is the end result, to see what went before the end result and how it got there we have to read the hebrew bible and backtrack. For jews they have the beginning of the story but they lack the end of the story and because they lack the end of the story they do not recognize their own King who is waiting on them to welcome him back. Christians and jews are 2 halves of the same coin, as messianics were originally born from the Daughter of Zion.

I believe in what Josuah said. "all this you can do and more". I am a Christian and I think that we are all endowed with the power to make things better in the world if we so choose. This is a higher order of thought that the powers that be do not want us to even have time to consider. That is why we have 'American Idol" and other such crap.

Hi Jimmy,

In response to " I truly hope an event comes which will make all humans of this earth realize that there is only one religion. And that is to live a s a good person and to contribute good to the world for the future generations."

I wish to tell you what I heard 30+ years ago that I now believe to be true. I was young when a strange man informed me about the NWO . He showed me the marks on the money, etc. He infored me that this NWO includes One World G. , a One World Currancy and a One world religion. So that statement kind of bothers me . I don't want the NWO.. imo, .they could dictate to me to bow down to the antichrist.

Then there are these verses:

Joh 10:1 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.
Joh 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

I realize you see things differently though... and maybe my train of thought is not what you were meaning at all. At least I HOPE you were not implying that Buddha , Osiris, and all these other little gods people have worshiped is or was God Almighty because clearly the Bible states differently. He tells us to have no other gods before Him. We are to worship HIM in spirit and in truth.

However, in this we agree -we all should be worshiping the Supreme God who created us! Even the trees do clap in praise to Him Smile

Bob, me thinks the veil is coming off... the time may be at hand... Jesus may be around the next corner so to speak.

I didn't realize you were into remote viewing /psychic -ESP stuff. Cool! I believe when God wants us to know something He will let us know.
Maybe we had full brain capability in the garden? After the fall of Adam, God removed the ability?? Just a thought!

Lonewolf and Herecat - I agree too. Good posts.
