Chance of Solar Flares This Week

Even with a large number of sunspots lately the sun has been relatively quiet. It looks as if that could change over the next several days. We have an active sunspot turning our direction and the activity in it is increasing. I hope to get a large enough flare for us to get some auroras. Only time will tell.
