Vey interesting article. It looks as if this could down the road help many people with debilitating illnesses. However, it is still a computer hooked to a brain. I could see many negative uses for this in the future with the governments around the world acting as they are. Let's just hope this one stays in the hands of those who will use it for good and not bad.

^ (this) is what I am truly concerned about - that the technology will be used by "wrong" hands to manipulate and or manchurian someone for their own evil agenda.

It would be great if this could be guaranteed to NEVER be used wrongly though. Unfortunately, there are still evil folk in this world that would take advantage.

It has been said too, that there are a lot of complications from those other implants for altzheimers patients and dogs . They seem to now be causing tumors, etc. Imo, they cause more harm than any actual good !
