Am I good, or am I good? Just two days after I wrote my piece on what I believe is the greatest threat facing the country at the moment - an EMP attack - here comes the DHS telling Congress that they have no clue about what they are going to do about the threat that could kill up to 90% of the population.

Quote :
“The threat of an electromagnetic pulse weapon represents the single greatest asymmetric capability that could fall into the hands of American enemies,” Franks warned at the time.

“Should a nuclear weapon from a rogue state such as Iran be detonated in Earth’s atmosphere at a sufficient height above the continental United States, the blast of electromagnetic energy could immediately cripple America’s electric power grid.

“Currently, the vast majority of the United States’ infrastructure is unsecured and exposed,” he said.

Franks said that an EMP blast could disable “so large a swath of American technology that between 70 percent to 90 percent of the United States’ population could become unsustainable.”

Here's the story I wrote on this two days ago. cheers

Hi Bob, So glad you brought up the topic.

Am vERRY concerned about EMP attacks too . Appreciate your 'alertness': Just wish all others were awake and that I had a solution for our worries but big ass jammers??? probably won't cut it LOL . What CAN we do?

Yes, EMP technology is very real and we are very vulnerable!

The smart electrical grid /AMI tech , imo, makes us all the MORE vulnerable at that. There are others (experts) that agree/say same.

Knowing that America could be brought down in a minute -to be crippled is a very scary thought. I cannot imagine - I do not wish to ever experience an EMP attack or any war....

Technology is great ..but in the wrong hands .....ugh.

Edit to add - this relative:
The Electromagnetic War on Humanity

EMF EMP all in same cat.

More food for thought! - Makes one wonder, doesn't it?

Prepare for life without elctricity and technology for a while. I will be just fine as I grew up on a farm and we know how to take care of ourselves without power. It will make life more difficult for sure. But it is doable. The worst part will be th hoards of people who cannot take care of themselves impeding on our safety and our sanctuary. I sure hope this doesn't happen because many innocent people will pay the price for it. And if I am correct we live in the part of the country with the worst power grid. I have heard estimates of four or more years without power restored in some areas. Also Nuclear power plants need electricity to power their cooling units so if the power goes out and they run out of back up generators we will be left with North America becoming the new Chernobyl only all over and not just in localize places.

I just got confirmation that a very important, highly sought after expert on Iran and EMP devices has agreed to be a guest on the show. This guy is a CNN/FOX/MSNBC quality expert in his field, and getting him on the show is going to be quite a coup. The Lord is really looking out for me.

cheers
