Once again we have proof that statements made by our no good President are severely untrue. I remember him saying that Al-Qaida was decimated and on the run. It is widely speculated that the cover-up of the events in Benghazi was done in order to perpetuate that myth. It is also the reason that Nidall Hassan's Fort Hood shooting is still thought of as workplace violence by this administration. What I see happening is that this administration is more worried about running surveillance and waging war on it's own citizens than it is actually trying to stop foreign terror threats. When the BLM is geared up for war against a cattle rancher the Mexican border is wide open for terrorists to enter this country. I do believe we will see another terrorist attack again soon and this Presidential administration will be to blame for their lax policy in trying to prevent foreign terrorists.

It was just another empty bumper sticker claim by Barack Hussein Obama in the 2012 presidential election: “Al-Qaida is decimated and on the run.” As with seemingly everything, no one ever challenged President Obama, but just let him “drone” on about things that were not true.

We were told the core of al-Qaida was destroyed. We were told the leadership of al-Qaida was no longer effective. Well, once again, it seems there is clear proof – aside from a resurgent al-Qaida taking back western Al Anbar province in Iraq – of yet another area of operations for the Islamic terrorist organization.

According to CNN, a new video shows what looks like the largest and most dangerous gathering of al-Qaida in years. And the CIA and the Pentagon either didn’t know about it or couldn’t get a drone there in time to strike. U.S. officials won’t comment on that, but every frame of the video is now being analyzed by the United States.

As CNN reports, in the middle of the clip, the man known as al-Qaida’s crown prince, Nasir al-Wuhayshi, appears brazenly out in the open, greeting followers in Yemen. Al-Wuhayshi, the No. 2 leader of al Qaeda globally and the head of al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula, has said he wants to attack the United States.

The video started appearing on jihadist websites recently, drawing the attention of U.S. officials and global terrorism experts. The video shows al-Wuhayshi addressing more than 100 fighters somewhere within Yemen. The al-Qaida leader doesn’t mince words about his mission. In a speech to the group, al-Wuhayshi makes it clear that he’s going after the United States, saying “We must eliminate the cross. … The bearer of the cross is America!”

Al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula, also known as AQAP, is considered the most dangerous al-Qaida affiliate. The CIA and the Pentagon have repeatedly killed AQAP leaders with drone strikes. But the group is now emboldened. One of the major concerns about AQAP is that they shield the top bomb maker for the organization. That bomb maker, Ibrahim al-Asiri, is believed to be responsible for several attack attempts against the United States, including the failed 2009 Christmas Day underwear bomber attack in Detroit.

We seem to be dropping the ball — and perhaps the acclaimed drone program hasn’t been as successful as touted. Sadly, we have no national security strategy to combat the non-state, non-uniform belligerents of the 21st century battlefield. But what is most disconcerting is that not only are we dropping our guard abroad in combating “overseas contingency operations” and “man-caused disasters” – we’re doing the same here at home.

As reported by ABC News, Muslim groups and civil liberties advocates applauded the decision by New York Police Department officials to disband a controversial unit that tracked the daily lives of Muslims as part of efforts to detect terrorism threats, but they said there were concerns about whether other problematic practices remained in place.

The Demographics Unit, conceived with the help of a CIA agent working with the NYPD, assembled databases on where Muslims lived, shopped, worked and prayed. Plainclothes officers infiltrated Muslim student groups, put informants in mosques, monitored sermons and catalogued Muslims in New York who adopted new, Americanized surnames. NYPD spokesman Stephen Davis confirmed Tuesday that detectives assigned to the unit had been transferred to other duties within the department’s Intelligence Division.

In a statement, Mayor Bill de Blasio, called the move “a critical step forward in easing tensions between the police and the communities they serve, so that our cops and our citizens can help one another go after the real bad guys.”

Perhaps if Boston had had a Demographics Unit, they would have seen the threats and concerns about the behavior and rhetoric of the Tsarnaev brothers? Apparently we have individuals in leadership positions in America who are less concerned with protecting the American people than playing a dangerous game of political correctness.

If we continue to afford this enemy cover and gaps by which they will exploit our liberties and freedoms to engage in their nefarious covert activities — we will pay a terrible price. And in case you’ve forgotten, Nidal Hasan’s jihadist attack at Ft Hood is still classified as “workplace violence.”

When will we learn? We just remembered the one-year anniversary of the Boston Marathon bombing. Ladies and gents, I fear what may be coming.
